Lindy's Stamp Gang March

Yum yum yum!
That's what I thought when I saw this months Color Challenge

This photo is of my gorgeous niece at her
recent baby shower.

I have used Lindy's sprays to water colour
my background and added lots
of different texture with Whipped Spackle,
templates, stamps, chipboard and beads.

Gorgeous glass cabachons from D-lish
Scraps are one of my fave embellishments.

The gorgeous white paper butterflies from
D-lish Scraps have been left mainly as is,
just a little Chateau Rose.

The colours that I used on my page are

Kraft+ March Challenge

So many gorgeous challenges to do this
month and I am loving that there is a new Kraft
challenge blog.

Kraft+ for March is an awesome sketch plus
All that glitters.

I pulled out the chalkboard paint for this one
and went a little black.

My All that Glitters is some Smooch gold paint,
Izink and some gold alphas and die cuts.

The cute little chippy frames are Scrap FX Scribble
Rectangles which I got from D-lish Scraps.

Jot mood board

I fell a little bit in love the minute I saw
this mood board from Jot magazine and knew that it
would be on my list of things to do this month.

The colours of this board are so gorgeous.

The page features cutie Miss Chloe who wanted
her photo taken and kept saying, here Aunty
Rosi, here, and running down to the back fence.

Love the way the Hand Dyed Muslin from D-lish Scraps
looks behind my photo.

Beautiful

Today I'm sharing a page that has been
inspired by the March Mood Board from
Sassy Scrapper.

The colours are fabulous and my page
is totally inspired by these.

I've used water colour pencils on my background.

Die cut some feathers to match the theme of the photo
and clustered them with a sequin bow.

The gold on my page is Faber Castell Texture Luxe.
I had trouble trying to show the full effect of this as
today is quite overcast.
This photo here shows a little of the shine.

This stuff is freaking awesome!

Scrap the Girls March

March Scrap the Girls challenge is this awesome sketch
from Rikki.

I love trying sketches, they are so versatile, you have the
opportunity to interpret it in your own way
and they are an awesome mojo starter.
Instead of flowers around the photo I
have made circles the feature of my page.

I have cut the shape out with my Silhouette and
set about with lots of fiddly paper piecing.

I love this effect.

Love these gorgeous D-lish Scraps
enamel dots.

D-lish Scraps cyber crop

Once a month we have a cyber crop
in the D-lish Scraps Facebook page,

Every 2nd month it is my turn to set one of the
challenges.  The format has changed a little and I
thought I would share my challenge here because you
now have a month to enter.

This month because it was February, I made
it all about love.

The challenge is to use the Colours of Love, Pink
or Red, some metallic and the lyrics from a song
either on your page or as your title.

I have used the Barry White song, My Everything.
This little piece of Wordfetti was perfect for my page.

I cut it into an arrow shape and stapled it to

My cluster here is a few different doilies,
a Sequin Bow, some Coloured Wire and a

You need to get your pages in by 5 pm AEST before
the next crop starts.
There's also another 3 fabulous challenges set
by some of the other DT ladies.

Purleeeeese for D-lish Scraps

I've scrapped a sulky looking photo of
Jordan for this page.

I started this one off with an awesome Scrap FX
stencil.  Love it! and it's perfect on this paper.

My photo cluster is a couple of layers of Patterned
Bags.  One which I have neatly trimmed, the other
I have torn at both ends.

I thought the black bag against the green, needed
something else so I have used a torn piece of Washi Tape
across the bottom edge.

I have added some torn Muslin, a Mini Wooden Peg
I had originally added 3 chevrons here but changed my
mind.  When I removed the 3rd one it tore a little of my
paper.

And that is the reason I have used sequins on this page.
They are my go to cover up if I have a
 boo boo that needs hiding.
In this instance I'm pretty glad I did make a mistake
because I think those sequins look pretty awesome.

I have used my Motex to make my title and then,
because I love little clusters, I've added it on to a little
pile of goodies.
Banner which has been coloured with Gelatos, and
some more torn Muslin.
Then right on top of this I have placed a
That heart is super cute.

I finished my page off with some another piece
This time colouring it with Wink of Stella pens.
