Circle Word Cards, for 2Crafty Chipboard

"Circle Word Cards"

For my second August project for 2Crafty Chipboard
I have used the  same set of "Circle Words" from
yesterdays post and made a set of cards.

Also on this one is some chippie "Cherries".
These have been painted with Distress Ink.

This card also features some feathers from
the "Soft Feather Set".  These have been painted with
Lindys Magicals.

My third card features a "Tree with Sparrow" chippie piece.
This one has also been painted with Magicals.

And the final card features an awesome "Hessian Patch" Panel.
For this I have slightly trimmed it down
and also coloured with Magicals.  The "Circle Word"
has been heat embossed with 3 different colours.

I love how versatile one pack of chipboard can be.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you've been inspired.

Happy, 2Crafty Chipboard

"Happy"

Hi there, today I am sharing with you a layout for

I have embossed these "Brooke's Swirls" with
black embossing powder and added a little amount
of Tinby Melts.  I also popped on some gold texture
and turquoise glitter.

My photo is sitting in one of the "Circle Revolution Frames".
This has also been heat embossed and glitter paste added.

I love how these mini tags look.  They're perfect for finishing off
a cluster or tucking under a photo layer.  I like to paint my tags
with gesso and stamp over the top, then add a little ink near the edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by, will be back tomorrow
with another 2Crafty share.

D-lish Scraps, Life is good

Hi there, am back today sharing a page that once again
was from my 'for the bin' pile.

I say 'for the bin', which is where they used to go,
but now I keep them all in a pile because something
I dislike today sometimes turns out to be
something I love tomorrow.

My throw out page is the one with all the colour.  It just didn't work
how I needed it to for a different project I'd done.
The colours are so pretty though and I knew that one day
I would need it.
I used a cut file with my Silhouette on plain white cardstock
and have then layered that over top of my throw out page.

Some gorgeous Hand Dyed Muslin has been placed in the
middle of my page for my photo mat.

The noteworthy circle and Life is good banner are
collection.  Tucked under the banner is a Sequin Bow.

Tucked under the bottom left corner is a super cute
deer which was part of a Just Add Paper Kit, as was the
girl Flair Button.

My little cluster down the bottom of the page is some more
die cuts from the Pinkfresh Studios Up in the Clouds collection and

To finish off I have scattered around some flowers from Little

D-lish Scraps, Choose to be happy

My first share for the month is something a little
different.  I have a thing for canvases at the moment.

I've done quite a few recently and have become quite hooked.

With this one I have stuck 3 smaller canvases across the middle.
I saw one on a blog the other week where someone had added
one to the middle of a canvas and I loved the look.
I just can't remember where I saw it.

My background has been coloured with Gelatoes and lots of
stamping and sencilling.  On the right side I have
used some gorgeous gold Punchinella.

If you look at the photo below, I have  also used the Punchinella
as a stencil with some distress ink.

I wanted lots of texture on this canvas.
The Manilla Shipping Tag has had a coat of crackle paste
and been finished off with a piece of raffia from a

My title, Choose to be happy, is a quote from a sheet
of Wordfetti.  The Wordfetti are fabulous for titles when
you just need something small.

I have used a Cameo from the DIY Cameo Making Kit
to mount my title.

Scattered around the canvas are some Glass CabochonsSequins and
Resin Flowers.

Thanks heaps for joining me again this month.
