My most fabulous news

This happened!!

I so have not had a moment to share.

Have shouted it all over Facebook and slapped the magazine
in front of everyone's faces.

And I can't stop smiling about it.

I was so shocked when I got the phone call and it was
the hardest secret I have ever had to keep.

3 months!!
3 months I had to hold it in and not tell a sole.

Gary knew cause we were both in the car when
the call came through the speakers.
He so loves to tell everyone about how I reacted.
He treats it like he's giving an Oscar performance and
acts as if I was giving an Oscar speech.

LOL, it was a crazy call.

We've done 5 projects so far and am loving
being challenged by the provided products.

Links to the other 9 amazing
and super talented ladies are up on
the right side of my blog.

Woo Hoo!!

I love that smile

Can you believe how fast the year has gone?
I can't believe that I'm here already with my December shares.

I got a bit messy with page, matching my background colours
to the colours in Jords cap.
Plus a little gold.

There was once again some awesome new
goodies in the store this last month.
I'm loving that I can buy Scrap FX
 from D-lish Scraps now.
One of my fave pieces of chipboard is
 these Sketchy Corners

I have stamped over these and heat embossed
with a gorgeous sparkly
black embossing powder.
To add a bit of dimension I have used one
 corner slightly
tucked under the photos and the
other corner on top.

Those little Pinkfresh Studio chevron wood drops are so
super gorgeous.

Layered on top of the sketchy frame is a
 Pinkfresh Studio Wood Chip.
These come in a pack with 9 different sayings
 and are pretty awesome.

I love that gold Freckled Fawn Arrow.

I've used the D-lish Scraps wood veneer alpha
set for the word SMILE in my title.
I heat embossed this with gold embossing
 powder and the same
 black as my frame.

Finished off my page with a little splattering of Enamel Dots.

Whoa! December!! Really??

Well that didn't take long to come around.

My first reveal for the season to be
jolly is my sample for the gorgeous
mood board at Scrap the Girls this month.

Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky

I had those words stuck in my head from
the moment I saw that flair at
D-lish Scraps.

I had those words stuck in my head
every single minute that I spent
putting this page together,
photographing and editing
these photos, and now every single
second that I'm doing this blog post.

I feel in love with how feminine and
shiny this board is.

So perfect for this adorable little

This month we have a fabulous
package of all sorts of yummy
 flowers, embellishments and chippy
donated by the lovely Raquel Bowman
from her personal stash!!

You have until the end of December
to get your entries in and I can't
wait to see what y'all do.

Shine, D-lish Scraps share

The page I'm sharing today has my least favourite colour
ever featured on it.

Well it was my least favourite until recently.
Seeing all the inspiration in The Scrap Suite and all the gorgeous entries in Lynn's
challenge at the last crop, I suddenly am snapping up every purple
embellie I can get.

I wanted a mirrored type look with my frames so I flipped over one of the
Arrow and Heart frames, with the arrows on each frame pointing in towards my photo.

I've done a little remodelling with the Shine frame.
I've very carefully cut out the stars from the middle of the frame.
This helped with that 'mirrored' look I was going for.

You can also see here above the photo and in the left corner of the frame
I've used the stars that I cut out of the middle of the frame.
I have coloured the stars with Magicals.

I've then used embossing powder and Metallic Melts to give the frames
a couple of different shades of colour.

In my clusters I have used, Resin Whimsical Butterflies, D-lish DotsResin
Cherry Blossoms and some Leaves.

I've also used some of the pretty white Doilies from the store.  I cut one into
quarters and used 2 pieces in the corners of the frames.
Behind the frames I have used a Chevron Bag.

Some strips of Wordfetti are perfect for little extras on your pages.
The couple of quotes I've used here have been held together with one of the
super cute Mini Wooden Pegs.

All finished off with a flair from the Dainty Doilies set.

Scrap Around the World November

I can't believe it's the 2nd day of
November and I already have one of
this months challenges completed.

I knew as soon as I saw this gorgeous
mood board from
that I needed to have a try at it.

Super gorgeous!!

There is not much in this board that I
didn't draw inspiration from.  Everything
spoke to me.  The music paper with string.
The flowers. The gorgeous colours.
The doily curtain.
The quote.

I started my page of with lots of
heat embossing with doily stamps
and matched them with the colours
of the flowers in the board.

I've built up heaps of layers with
doilies, die cuts, tissue paper
and flowers.

Lots of pretty matching flowers .

Thanks heaps for stopping by

Scrap the Girls November

Pinch and a punch!!

When we reach November I always get a
shock at how fast the year has gone.
It's a sign that Santa will soon be here and
a reminder of how close the new year is.

My first share for November is the
gorgeous sketch for Scrap the Girls.

I've used the Kaisercraft Kaleidoscrope
collection for my page.  Such a pretty set.

Lots of layering with vellum, doilies,
die cuts tissue paper and stickers.

Super cute black pegs, resin flower, enamel
dots, twine, gold stripe bag and washi tape
all from D-lish Scraps.

Hope you all get a chance to join in this month.
The sketch is gorgeous and we have some
awesome prizes from the following sponsors.
