I ♥

Wplus9 but I seem to say that about every product I use lately.

All these gorgeous goodies, who can resist.

I have a card that I have made for my first ever entry into Just Add Ink challenge 132.

I've bought heaps of these awesome stamps and dies.  Love them heaps and heaps.
I got the cutest fish set that I'm hoping to have a play with
this weekend, but there's always too
many distractions on the www lately.

So, this is the sketch

and this is my cad.

The scallopy dies I've used here are from My Favorite Things Dienamics.

Hump day is almost over which means nearly one day til the weekend.
Can't get here fast enough if you ask me.

extraordinarily ordinary moment ♥

Making my dash towards the finish line that
is August and the end of this months challenges.

Another Stuck! sketch

This gorgeous paper range is Teresa Collins Tell Your Story and it's another TC one that I ♥
The photo I used is a shocker in quality, a stinky phone selfie, but
I love the photo of my and my man.

I've used a Heidi Swapp chipboard frame thingy that I got a few years ago.
Actually it was 2009 and she released these and some letters and papers that all
colour changed when ink and sprays were added.

Now she's released Color Magic products and after using both, now and then,
I don't see the difference.  Just a different name and range.

I love this quote ♥

and this one is another one from the Teresa Collins Sweet Afternoon Kit.
I've really enjoyed playing with this collection.  I have enough paper left over that
I may be able to get 1 more page done.
This photo is of my Gaz man and his mummy on our wedding day.

A few dies and the awesome
The strip of different papers running down the left
side of the page is actually from the packaging.
Thought they looked good, so why not!

So curly roses and lots of Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and embossing powder.  I can spy
a couple of yellow leaves in there that have also been sprayed,

Enjoy your week.

My first ScrapCake

Done a little sketch for Stuck!

and this is my interpretation.

I got these gorgeous Scrapcake papers what seems like ages ago and
finally had a play with them last week.
They're a bit special ☺
Stacked up a few different dies from Cherry Lyn Designs and My Favorite Things Dienamics.
Used one of my favorite Ali Edwards stamps with some embossing powder.

Lots of foam tape ☺

My little glass heart cabochon with some washi stuck underneath.  I saw this done on a page created by Amanda at D-lish Scraps.
I love that you can tie washi tape into all different elements on your pages ♥

and a little share of what I've been
up to for Passion4Paper.

Here's a page I have finished using the Beautiful Moments Carta Bella Kit.
The papers in this kit are really gorgeous.  They're also thick and really nice to use.
I picked a photo for this of my Nan with my little Noodle when he was only 5 days old....he was 17 this week.
Freaking my out how fast that's gone!

I inked a few stamps up with Fired Brick.  The colour matches perfectly with the kit.
That little birdie in the corner is again a stamp from my Pink Paislee set.  Have
definately got my money worth out of that one.

I got a box of Zots from Passion4Paper and they are awesome.
You have to be carful cause once they are stuck, they are stuck.  They're little
clear 3d dots and I ♥ them

All my elements have been inked with Brushed Corduroy.

Hope you all are having an excellent weekend.

I ♥ washi!

In fact you could almost say, I collect washi!
 How cool is this stuff.
When I first started buying it, I was getting it cause it looked pretty ☺ but now I find I'm reaching for it with every page I do.

I have also found a challenge blot that I can't believe I've just noticed seeing I have a major love of all things kraft.
Kraft it up  has a really cute sketch to follow and we needed to use lots of layers.

Here's my little noodle again, am guessing it would be about 16 year ago.
♥ him

washi!

layers!

and my beautiful boy

Look at my little cork people!  The are My Favorite Things paperdoll die cut out of a cork sheet.  Little girl pilots!

Dylusions and Tim Holtz ♥

Saturday morning I'm eating breaky in front of the computer like usual, catching up on any overnight blog posts and I pop on over to Dyan Reaveley's blog for a looksee.
I sat with my mouth open watching her in a video doing a technique she calls Bleach Out.
I also love the way she uses another sheet of card to lift off the excess spray from her page so that it isn't wasted.
And oh my!  She has waterbrushes filled with all the colours of the Dylusions range so that she can paint with them!  I ♥

I've never done any thing overly arty but this really peeked my interest.
I haven't bleached out all of my circles, just random parts of the and Dyans work looks a lot more bleached out than mine but I was too scared to lay down more water on my page, but I love the two tone look I get with the Dylusions and this technique.
I sprayed a small piece of my waterproof paper in black and then sprayed the rest with the torquoise.

I did 'bleach out' both of the stamped butterflies completey though and reinked them with a water brush, distress ink and distress stain.

I've used quite a few things on this and have decided to do a product list at the end of my post for a change ☺
1
The distess ink in the circles is the pink but because I hadn't picked up all the torqoise spray it's purple in colour in parts.  I used the same stamp that's in the background with a bit of Versa Mark and Perfect Pearls to add another element to this.
5
Thhe two canvas resist butterflies have been coloured with the torquoise spray and a distress ink.
4
I love this Papillion stamp set.  Love, love, love. ♥
2
Overall I'm quiet happy with how this has turned out.
It's the first real arty sort of thing I've attempted and I think it's coming to work with me and being pinned on my wall ☺
