2 more

So I've spent my public holiday doing more challenges. One day I might actually learn to take the photos of them before dark...I had lots of trouble with the pics of these ones tonight, so forgive the photography please.

I started this one last night for the Stampin for the Weekend blog. Criteria: purple and yellow....for those that don't me....I despise purple!! Thought I'd give it a go anyway and the combination of colours really is quite nice. Not me, but nice anyways. I'm sure one of my nans would like this card and I'm trying anything at the moment to get a bit of mojo back.

This one's my take for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. Criteria: Bloomin Gorgeous, and I've taken this to mean flowers. This one doesn't have to be a card so I tried something different. I used my Cricut!!! Finally!! My Cricut and some MME papers, perfect combo.

I have another couple I've been trying to get started today for some challenges but haven't quite got there yet. That's what happens I spose when you don't get out of bed til 11am.

oh wow Ros these are so delightful. Thank you for taking part with our very first challenge over at SFTW, I love your card, I have just received this gorgeous Tilda, she's one of my favs at the moment. The swing image behind is so beautiful, I've not seen anything like that before and your colouring is superb, a really beautiful card with a fab layout. Hopefully you will be able to join in with many more of our challenges at SFTW, good luck xx vicki xx

Wow Ros for someone that doesn't like purple, you've done an outstanding job on this, love the swing image, it's just perfect for Tilda, she really looks at home on that swing. Your coloring is amazing and the backing paper is lovely. I think these two colors really work well together.
Thank you for participating in the "Stampin' for the Weekend" challenge. Good luck and we hope you'll continue to join in on the challenges on a weekly basis. Have a great weekend.

Purple and yellow is one of my favorite color combos (my wedding colors were even purple and yellow). You did such a fantastic job that I never would have guessed that you are not a fan of purple.

I also love your gorgeous little elephant.
