You Got This for Bee Arty

Hello,
today is a super quick share.  It started with a scrap of paper that had been removed from a journal and cut in half.
There was extra Colour Blast Spray in Bubblegum and Colour Artist Ink in Calypso on my desk and I used this to mop it up.
I thought I'd die cut it or something but one side of the paper is torn and I couldn't stop looking and touching it, loving how organic it felt.

I added some stamping that I'd done on some tissue paper.  Some marks have been made with a giant Sharpie.  Some Heavy Black Gesso with the Stardust Stencil has also been added.  I only used the edge of this, trying to get just the circle and star bursty type shapes.

Some black gesso mixed in water was then used to add a few flicks to the top.
Short and sweet but a good time.

Hope you've been inspired 💙

Live for Scrap FX

Hi everyone.  Today I'm sharing a couple of pages, both using the same Freedom Girl Stencil.  The pages started with a little gloss spray and evolved from there.

I have used some matte medium to stick down a few pieces that have been torn from Loopy Script Collage paper and added some stamping and embossing powder.

The body of the Freedom Girl has the been added with some Colour Blast black gesso and a makeup sponge.  I did some messy writing across the girl and finished it off with a Mini Bracket Word with has been coloured with acrylic paint.

My 2nd page actually was a scrap I grabbed to sample the stencil on as I'd never used it before.  I fell in love with it though and had to finish it off.

The title has also been added with some black gesso.  This was taken from the Create with Passion stencil.

I added a few dots and a Mini Feather to her hair.  The feather has been painted in gold and I added a couple of different colour stickles to the top.

Make Life Sparkle for Bee Arty

Hi there,  today I'm sharing another mixed media page.

This one started with another background made by smooshing some Colour Blast Sprays and Colour Artist Inks between 2 pieces of card.

I've then used the That Way Stencil and a baby wipe to remove some of the colour.

With a make up sponge I then added some Heavy Black Gesso through some parts of the Circulate Stencil.

I have used the stencil as a template for stitching, poking holes in the card and then threading to make it easier.

A little doodling and some Jane Davenport washi paper and it was all done.

Hope you've been inspired 💙

Love for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing with you a tag with lots of Scrap FX goodies.
I have just purchased some pots of coloured wax and not knowing how to use them, I took to YouTube and was inspired by a Prima Marketing video by Keren Tamir.

I have used a large tag for my base which I added some gloss gel to with the Botanical Stencil.  Once dry I have coated this in Colour Blast Black Gesso.
I have then assembled a few pieces with a thick matte medium and left to dry overnight.  I think I have stuck the wings the wrong way round but am really happy with them like this.  The body piece of my insect has been made by building up a few chipboard pieces.  A piece from the Chess Set, a key from Bund of Keys and lastly a Crown.
These have all been adhered to my tag with a few miscellanious bits from my stash.  I used all the colours of things that were my least fave because they are all going to end up coated in black gesso.
I've added a couple of Triangle Tags and a Duo Hearts chipboard piece to the top on my tags.  These were all painted in black gesso.  The Heart piece has had a small piece of paper coloured  and attached to the back to colour the cut out piece.
The next day I have painted the whole piece with black gesso and attacked it with my new addiction, wax.  They go on amazingly simply and so soft and lush on the chipboard pieces.  It's delicious.
I used a few different colours and the Patina Blue to highlight parts of the focal point.
The title is a Bracket Word Mini, this has been painted and a metal frame with a layer of charcoal wax added over top.
Hope you've been inspired ♥
