Just Be canvas and Love this Live for Scrap FX

I'm back again with another canvas.  I am just loving doing little canvases at the moment and filling my home with my favourite colours and products.
For the base of this one I have used lots of gesso, string and micro balls, giving my background lots of texture.  Colour Blast inks have been used for the colour.  The Boho Arrow Border has been trimmed.  My canvas is small so I cut this to fit, removing some of the pieces to save for another project.  This has been coated in a few layers of gesso.
The title, Just Be, did have a feather on the end but I had used that on something else previously.  I have painted this with acrylic paint and a glitter pen.
All the other pieces of chipboard have had many coats of gesso.  I randomly painted on top of these with Glass Bead Glitter Gel and Snow White Colour Blast Paste.
I cut the Adorned Branch in to many pieces.  The top part, in 2, poking out from the top and bottom of the main cluster. The little hanging pieces I glued into little strips hanging out from the piece.

My next share is a layout featuring my gorgeous great nephew and his Nanna.  So much love ♥
I started by stamping the Beautiful Butterfly Stamp with black ink onto some vellum.  The smaller pieces were run through a Xyron to make little stickers.  The larger one was adhered with a little glue on the body and tips of the wings.
Around the page I have used pieces cut from the Love Transparency.  These have been placed randomly around the page.  The Love this Life title, has been coloured with a white sharpie.
Underneath the photo I have used the Rose Garden Silhouette.
The Rustic Love piece of chipboard has been trimmed to go under, and over the bottom of the photo, like a photo corner.  A piece of this was also popped on the top left of my cluster to balance it out.

A canvas for Scrap FX

So nice to be able to join you as part of the Scrap FX team.
Seeing as this months release is all about love, I thought I’d make a little canvas for my niece.
I started out with a 6x6 canvas which I painted with acrylic paint in elephant and sterling.  The row of roses along the bottom is the Rose Garden stamp.  I used a brayer to add black acrylic paint to this and stamped a few times across the bottom of the canvas.
I've added a few layers of  Colour Blast Bling embossing powder onto the Heart Swathe chipboard piece.  I always add at least 3 coats of embossing powder to my chipboard pieces.  This gives them a nice thick look.  The Heart Spray chipboard is a perfect little frame for a loved up photo.  I’ve embossed this with some Dusty Charcoal embossing powder.  This time the final coat was done with Snow White power for a nice shimmery look.  Using some scrap dots, this piece has been adhered over the top of the gold Heart Swathe.

The small hearts that are on here are the middle pieces from the Duo Hearts chipboard.  These have been given a coat of white gesso and then painted with a silver shimmer brush.  When I’m using smaller pieces I like to stick them to some temporary tape to make it easier to handle.
A quote has been added to the bottom of the canvas.  I cut this from the Love transparency and stuck this to some white card stock.  I cut this into a little banner shape and adhered to the bottom of the canvas.
The products I've used this month are
