Image Transfer for Bee Arty

Hi there, today I'm sharing a page that started off as an image transfer.

This was inspired by a class I took at retreat last year by Leanne Jago.  The Art by Leanne facebook page has lots of gorgeous inspiration with image transfers.

Once my image was ready to use, I have put down a messy layer of Heavy White Gesso Colour Shimmer Dust in Passion and Peacock has then been sprinkled over the gesso and spread with a palette knife.  A baby wipe has been used to wipe away some excess from the image.

I then heat dried the page and have added some tissue with white stars to parts of the background with matte medium.
The black stars have been done with Heavy Black Gesso and the That Way Stencil.  The gesso was lightly applied to a makeup sponge and dabbed through the stencil.

I have then done some random stamping with the Geo Grunge Stamp Set and added some molding paste with the Scripted Sencil.

To finish off the page, I added small amount of Coffee Colour Spray around the corners and some Heavy Black Gesso around the edge of the page.

Broken for Scrap FX

Hi, am sharing a couple of quick journal pages with you today.

I have recently purchased some Gloss Sprays and it only took one quick go to fall in love with them.  I'm using them on everything at the moment.
This page started with a quick spray of turquoise in the middle of some pages in my 6 x 6 journal.  I've then placed the Silhouette Ladies Stencils over the pages and sprayed again.
The Circle Stencil has then been used to add some circles around one of the ladies and then a butterfly has been stamped from the Beautiful Butterfly Stamp.
The title has been cut from the Philosophy Phrases Transparency and some Posca pens have added a few highlights.

This next page has been done in my little sketch book I made and shared on here a little while ago.  It's quite a simple page and was super quick to do.
It was started as a result of the excess spray on the stencilled page above.  I flipped the wet stencil pieces onto my page which is the pink colour, and sprayed again.  This could have been a never ending process with the top side of the ladies covered in another layer of paint to use.
The ladies have been outlined with pencil and some torn pieces from the Blueprint and Coloured Numbers by Niamh Baley Ricepapers, have been adhered around the pages.
The title used on the page is the 2nd part of a quote from the Philosophy Phrases Transparency.

Fun for Bee Arty

Hi there, thank you for joining me again.

I pulled out the Scrap FX circle template again this week.  I'm a sucker for a circle.  I used this to make 3 (almost 3) circles across the middle of my page.  The template was also used to trace and cut out a few photos.

The circles have been coloured with a mix of water and Colour Shimmer Dusts in Lollipop, Paris and Peacock.  I have used some scrap papers to mask off each side and splattered some of the mix to each corresponding circle.

I had some scraps of paper which I used to make butterflies in my last post.  I have used these to die cut using the Honeycomb Metal Die.
The title word has been cut using the 365 Alphas Die on some card that has been painted with Paris Shimmer Dust.  I also backed this with the same letters cut from black card stock to help the title pop out a little.

Around the edge of my page has been stamped with the mesh stamp from the Life is Tough stamp set.

Home for Scrap FX

Hello and welcome to a new month.

I have started my page by using a couple of Doily Whites on my background.  I used these as stencils, spraying them with Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays on both pages.  Once done, I sprayed one with a couple of different colours and sat aside to dry.
For the middle feature, I cut a piece from the Leadlight Window Transparency.  This has been cut in half and adhered with matte medium.  The same has been done to the Doily White that I sprayed.  I cut these so that when my journal is closed, it still sits nice and flat.
I have then used matte medium to stick down some trees from the Trees Ricepaper and a couple of houses from the Happy Houses by Michelle Logan.  I have cut a heart from one of the trees to add to my page.
I used some pencils to add a little more colour to the houses and heart, not too much because I still wanted to show the 'messy' look that these have.
The title on my page has been taken from the Storybook Text.
