Say Cheese

Another page with the Simple Stories Say Cheese collection.

There so much in this set that I think I will
be set for boy pages for a while.

I've followed this sketch from Sketchabilites, well sort of,
I have to make it my own :)

I've used 2 3x4 photos of Jord and Sammy for my page.

added a few Freckled Fawn embellies and I am
loving this W.O.W arrow mask.

Loving that it's Friday.

Enjoy your weekend.

You had me at woof.

Actually she had me the minute I laid eyes on her.

My cutie Miss Coco Chanel the 1st.

So my page today is all about Coco and when I
saw this gorgeous sketch at
I knew I had to have a go cause it's little bit cute.

When I was cleaning my room this week, I
popped aside one of these pocket page
protectors cause I had an idea that
I'd like to use one as a base for a layout.

Then when I saw the sketch today it all
fitted in perfectly.

oh, and any tips on photographing white pages will
be gratefully appreciated.

I've used the gorgous Dear Lizzy range on this page.

I love that stamp!

I also love a sequin pocket!

Had good fun creating this page.
Doesn't hurt when you have the cutest
subject in the world either.

Lilac Haze

Gorgeous!!
The best word to describe D-Lish Scraps
January Mood Board.

So purple is not my colour.
I really dislike purple and thought that I would
struggle with this months board.
All that changed as soon as my goodies from D-Lish Scraps
arrived.

I'm totally in love with all shades mint and can't  believe how perfect
these colours are together.

My photo here is one of my brothers, Danny and
his daughter Challyla

The beautiful purple and mint daisies
that I've used come with a bright orange centre.
Not the look I wanted on my page.
A little pinch with my nail and they were easy to remove.
I replaced the centres with some Pearl Cabochons and
Resin Daisies.
Love how they look.

I was not able to capture the full effect of this beautiful
Mirror Butterfly.  It's gorgeous and they are
definitely going to feature in more pages.

The white Mulberry Paper Butterflies are gorgeous too.  I
glued two together along the body so that I could shape them
and make them more 3d.
I then put glitter on the top wings.
